These are the final pictures of the interior of the Frank Lloyd Wright House. I thought I took more, but I was pretty exhausted (mentally that is) at this point. I missed shots of the bar and pool room that lead to the heated pool, along with the shots of the office and board rooms. All right out of the 60's...The following shots are of the Living room from two angles and the stereo system in the study. He kept making refference to the hasidic jews he rented a closet to??? If anyone is interested in checking the house out it is right down RT9 after Lakewood. You can't miss it there is old cars int he front yard, though there is not always someone there.

Inside the barn and garages....

After viewing the cars in the yard, I start to realize this guy is basically giving us a tour of his property. Alot of the things my father described to me he is repeating almost word for word, I think he has done this before. Inside the garage is a ton of crap and these two beauties an old Bentley and Packard, along with the spot that he parks the white Rolls Royce. Found a safety green scotti with no top inside, along with a bunch of old crap adveritising items, records and misc nic nacs of different ages. From here he informs us we are going to the barn, connected to the garage for the 100 year old section.

As we climb up a few steps to the oldest part of his collection this is one of the first things to greet you, along with old church
pews and the chairs the priest would sit on. (Jana loved this part) He had some other misc WWI and WWII war items, and with that a beer can collection. He explains that military men like to drink, so this is where he keeps his beer can collection with the war surplus items.

Lots of other items spread out around, including some old records and a few more nash/metropolitans some arcade games and several tables from a KFC. The old brown and beige type connected that only swivled about 180 degrees. He told me not to touch the key chain collection here, cause it might fall, I still touched it, and then got a lil worried, how would I explain any injuries I might get from it falling on me?

I should have taken more photos of some of the other items, these are some old Coin/Cigarette purses. I remember one of the older women who would watch me when I was younger having these, smoking Tarrytons or virginia slims, I forget the brand. I shold have grabbed them, if not for the designs alone.

Last picture I have is these letters, obviously from various signs. Wish I could of found a use for them, I kinda like em.

That was it for the barn, I have a few more pics of the house on the inside, an interior that has not changed since the early 60's. Well except the kitchen, seems that was done over a few years ago...

First the cars...

This guy had alot of different cars on the property from nash/metropolitans, a mid sixties lincoln with the suicide doors, old rolls, bentley and packards and other goodies, but no Ghia convertibles for Jana...

Lots of other rare cars in various conditions on this property too. Including a crosley (yes the maker of radios) pickup truck, though I question the authenticity of it. Next time I will show what was inside the massive garage/barn/pool house...did I mention the on this property is supposed to be a Frank Lloyd Wright house...

My first blog....

...bored on a rainy night, I have decided to start a blog. Think I will try and keep the focus on my different adventures in "Diggin". I consider "diggin" as my on going daily hunt, always looking, always searching. Whether it is for a personal collection of mine, or maybe to help a fellow "digger". Occasionaly I will share my random digs, or share some past digs with you, till then I leave you with an all pink bathroom. I will share the rest of the story with you later....
